Job Description

Job Summary
  • Pay Rate: $70 - $75/hour
  • Experience: 5+ years of Product Management experience (PM II/ PM III level)

Our client, a Fortune 500 telecommunications and media company, is looking for a Product Manager to own the roadmap for customer-facing e-commerce and marketing product initiatives. This role is responsible for full-cycle product ownership -- from prioritization and value justification through feature definition, refinement, and launch -- ensuring the team ships work that is both business-justified and customer-centered.

This position operates in a fast-paced, situational environment and requires a highly adaptable, self-directed individual who can prioritize independently, justify tradeoffs clearly, and move quickly with incomplete information.

Key Responsibilities

Own quarterly roadmap prioritization for customer-facing e-commerce and marketing product initiatives

Define and justify feature scope and launch strategy, connecting decisions to clear business value

Write and maintain features, epics, and user stories in Jira

Lead backlog refinement sessions and design workshops with cross-functional partners

Partner with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to move initiatives from concept to launch

Make day-to-day prioritization calls independently, escalating only where needed

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Product Management experience, at a mid-level (PM2/PM3) scope

Proven experience as a Product Manager on customer-facing applications, preferably e-commerce or marketing

Track record of owning a roadmap end-to-end, including prioritization and value justification

Working proficiency in Jira for feature and story writing

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Preferred Qualifications

Telecommunications or subscription/services industry exposure

Active use of AI tools to support product workflows (roadmapping, requirements, research)

Core Competencies

Ownership Mentality: Drives roadmap decisions and justifies tradeoffs without waiting for direction

Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-moving environment with incomplete information and shifting priorities

Learning Agility: Picks up new domain knowledge quickly and applies it to real decisions

Emotional Maturity: Stays composed and supportive through late changes and critical deliveries

Clear Communication: Explains prioritization and tradeoffs in terms stakeholders can act on

Work Environment

Fast-paced, situational environment that prioritizes speed and adaptability over rigid process

Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote

Success in This Role

Independently prioritizes and justifies the roadmap without needing close oversight

Adapts quickly to new information, ambiguity, and shifting priorities

Builds trust and credibility with cross-functional partners

Ships features that are both business-justified and customer-centered
