Product Owner - Intraday Liquidity - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Owner - Intraday Liquidity for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in New York, NY or Charlotte, NC. This is a contract opportunity through 2027.
This role supports technology and data capabilities for Intraday Liquidity Management. This role sits within the client's Treasury department and works across Treasury, Technology, Data Engineering, Operations, and Risk to turn business needs into delivered solutions. The ideal candidate can do hands-on business and data analysis, but brings a product owner's mindset: setting priorities, driving decisions, coordinating delivery, and taking ownership of outcomes.
Responsibilities:

• Own product priorities: Shape the roadmap and backlog, define requirements and acceptance criteria, and make trade-offs clear to stakeholders
• Drive coordinated delivery: Lead working sessions with business and technology teams; track milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions; and connect those routines to leadership reporting
• Work hands-on with data: Query and manipulate data to investigate business questions, discover requirements, test solutions, and validate results
• Strengthen intraday liquidity capabilities: Help deliver improvements to monitoring, analytics, controls, and reporting, including capabilities related to balances and payment activity
• Communicate the story: Turn detailed findings and delivery issues into concise updates that explain what changed, why it matters, and what action is needed

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• Experience in product ownership, business analysis, data analysis, or program delivery in Treasury, payments, liquidity, or a related financial-services area
• Strong data skills, including the ability to query, manipulate, and validate data independently using tools such as Python and SQL
• Agile delivery and Project Management experience
• Experience working with application developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to move from requirements through testing and delivery
• Sound judgment, ownership, and the ability to lead through ambiguity without relying on formal authority
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to prepare succinct materials for senior leaders
• Hybrid on-site expectations: 1 day per week in New York, NY or 3 days per week in Charlotte, NC

Desired skills:

• Payments technology or fintech application development
• Familiarity with wires, ACH, real-time payments, or on-chain payment concepts such as distributed ledger technology and tokenization
• Experience with similar Treasury platforms

Pay range: $66.25 - $74.25 per hour
