SAP Source-to-Pay Solution Architect/SME

Job Description Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Source-to-Pay Solution Architect to lead the design and transformation of end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Procurement, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, SAP Ariba, supplier management, and procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Source-to-Pay and Procurement transformation strategy across sourcing, purchasing, supplier collaboration, inventory replenishment, and procurement operations.
• Own the end-to-end P2P solution architecture.
• Design and govern procurement processes including:
  • Purchase Requisitions
  • Purchase Orders
  • Contracts
  • Scheduling Agreements
  • Service Procurement
  • Subcontracting
  • Consignment
  • Indirect Procurement
• Define standardized procurement processes, policies, and global templates.
• Design supplier management and strategic sourcing capabilities.
• Lead integration between Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, Finance, Accounts Payable, and supplier-facing systems.
• Define solutions for procurement approvals, controls, compliance, tax, and audit requirements.
• Establish procurement analytics, reporting, and KPI frameworks.
• Lead solution-design workshops with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Identify process gaps and recommend automation and best-practice solutions.
• Create solution architecture documents, process flows, integration designs, and functional specifications.
• Mentor functional and technical team members.

Required Skills

• 10 15+ years of SAP Procurement / Source-to-Pay experience.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Expert knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management).
• Strong experience with SAP Ariba Sourcing & Contracts.
• Experience with Ariba SLP (Supplier Lifecycle & Performance) and Ariba Contracts.
• Strong understanding of EWM, Logistics, and Inventory Management.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement business operations.
• Experience with procurement transformation and global SAP implementations.
• Knowledge of SAP Signavio and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Strong understanding of integrations between SAP Procurement and Finance/AP systems.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

These requirements align closely with current SAP S2P architect roles, which commonly emphasize SAP MM, EWM, S/4HANA, Ariba Sourcing/Contracts, Ariba SLP, Signavio, and Cloud ALM.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA certification preferred.
• Experience leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Experience with global procurement operating models.
• Knowledge of SAP procurement best practices and process standardization.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies and third-party procurement platforms.
• Strong experience working with business and IT leadership.

Education

• Bachelor&# ;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• SAP certifications are preferred.
