We are seeking an experienced AI Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale AI, Generative AI (GenAI), and Agentic AI solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership, enterprise architecture expertise, and the ability to drive AI adoption across Optum Health technology portfolios.

Required Qualifications

12+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or software engineering roles.

5+ years of experience designing and delivering AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, or intelligent automation solutions.

Experience architecting solutions using LLMs and Generative AI; deep expertise in at least one agentic framework such as LangGraph, Agno, or AutoGen, plus RAG, AI agents, conversational AI platforms, and guardrails.

Experience with vector databases, knowledge graphs, semantic search, and enterprise knowledge management platforms.

Experience or exposure to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, including AI and data services.

Experience designing distributed, scalable, and resilient enterprise architectures.

Experience defining architecture standards, reference architectures, and technology governance processes.

Strong understanding of data architecture, data governance, API management, security, and privacy controls.

Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive enterprise technology decisions.

Proven experience leading cross-functional teams across product, engineering, architecture, and business organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Healthcare experience across provider organizations, population health, value-based care, or payer platforms.

·        Experience integrating healthcare systems using HL7, FHIR, EHR platforms, claims systems, provider systems, or clinical applications.

·        Experience deploying production-scale AI platforms and MLOps capabilities.

·        Experience with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot technologies, and enterprise AI platforms.

·        Master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.
