Title: ServiceNow SPM Process Lead
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Westerville, OH, 43082


Duties:
Process Documentation & Training
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation for SPM modules, including Resource Management, Idea Management, and Strategic Planning Workspace
  • Create end-user and practitioner training materials — guides, quick reference cards, and walkthroughs — aligned with Vertiv standards
  • Establish and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for SPM workflows and governance
  • Maintain a living documentation library that keeps pace with platform updates and process changes
Resource Management Rollout
  • Lead the rollout of Resource Management capabilities to IT teams
  • Define and document resource allocation processes, roles, and responsibilities
  • Partner with IT leadership to drive adoption and ensure alignment with organizational resource planning needs
  • Deliver training sessions and enablement activities to support IT team onboarding to Resource Management
Idea Management & Strategic Planning Workspace Expansion
  • Drive the continual rollout of Idea Management and Strategic Planning Workspace to business units across Vertiv
  • Engage with business unit stakeholders to understand requirements, tailor configurations, and support onboarding
  • Develop rollout plans, communication strategies, and adoption metrics for each business unit deployment
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business units during their SPM onboarding experience
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to promote SPM adoption and gather ongoing feedback
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for end users and practitioners across organizational levels
  • Track adoption metrics and provide regular status updates to ServiceNow Process Owner and program leadership
  • Support continuous improvement of SPM processes based on user feedback and organizational needs
Skills:
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) — SPM or ITBM
  • Experience with Strategic Planning Workspace and Innovation Management in ServiceNow
  • Background in change management or organizational change enablement methodologies
  • Familiarity with ITIL and portfolio/program management frameworks
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with diverse business unit stakeholders
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Yokohama release or later
Education:
  • Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) modules, including Resource Management, Idea Management, and Demand Management
  • Strong process documentation and technical writing skills — ability to translate complex workflows into clear, usable content
  • Experience creating training materials for end users and practitioners across varying technical skill levels
  • Proven ability to lead technology rollouts or deployments across multiple business units
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — comfortable presenting to both technical and business audiences
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing rollout plans and documentation repositories
