Associate Attorney

Heritage Family Law is seeking a highly energetic, motivated attorney who wants to improve their work life balance. We are a family law firm handling families' and children's needs. The perfect candidate will be self-motivated, self-directed and will put their client's needs first. The firm provides an excellent paralegal team, as well maintaining a full client caseload for you. Immediate court appearances both virtually and in person. Our main location is in Vancouver with a rapidly growing office in Longview.

This position will have their home office in Longview and the candidate will be required to periodically come to Vancouver. Expansion opportunities available potentially in Ridgefield/La Center area. • *Responsibilities include:*
• Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
• Representing clients in court and negotiations, predominately in Clark and Cowlitz Counties
• Supporting the firm with 5 other attorneys and staff on all legal cases
• Direct and work with experienced paralegal team to maintain files in compliance with firm templates
• Cover cases for other attorneys, as needed
• Ability to understand and aid people during some of the worst times of their lives

• Requirements:*
• Active bar membership in Washington State
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to be self-motivated in a great team environment
