Job Description

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong BFSI and Commercial Banking experience to support business and technology initiatives within Treasury Solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving requirements analysis, feature refinement, and delivery of business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Commercial Banking and Treasury Solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, developers, and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Participate in feature refinement, backlog grooming, requirement walkthroughs, and solution discussions with Business and Technology teams.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend opportunities for process and product improvements.
• Work with technology teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and solutions meet business expectations.
• Perform data analysis and validation using SQL.
• Support UAT, defect analysis, issue resolution, and production support as required.
• Utilize Watson/AI-based capabilities where applicable to support business analysis and solution development.
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and provide status, risks, dependencies, and requirement updates.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within BFSI/Banking.
• Strong understanding of Commercial Banking and preferably Treasury Management/Treasury Solutions.
• Experience working directly with both Business and Technology teams.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, feature refinement, and user story development.
• Hands-on SQL experience for data analysis and validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with Watson or similar AI/analytics technologies is preferred.

Preferred Domain Experience

Treasury Management, Cash Management, Payments, Liquidity Management, Receivables/Payables, Corporate Banking, or Commercial Banking platforms.
