Sr. Delivery Consultant

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Sr. Delivery Consultant to lead mission-critical cloud programs for national security customers. You will design and implement secure, scalable AWS architectures, guide migrations, and coordinate delivery across engineering, security, and customer stakeholders. Responsibilities include assessing environments, defining roadmaps, automating deployments, and ensuring compliance with strict security requirements. You will mentor teams, produce high-quality technical artifacts, and drive continuous improvement while operating in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AWS cloud solutions for national security customers
• Design secure, scalable AWS architectures aligned with mission and compliance requirements
• Assess existing environments and define cloud adoption and migration roadmaps
• Implement automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code for reliable deployments
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and customer stakeholders to remove delivery blockers
• Ensure adherence to stringent security, regulatory, and operational standards
• Produce clear technical documentation, designs, and runbooks
• Mentor customer and internal teams on AWS best practices and operational excellence
• Identify risks and drive mitigation plans to keep projects on track
• Continuously improve delivery methodologies and contribute to reusable accelerators
