📌 Job Overview

Apex / Ulta Beauty is looking for experienced Product Owners / Product Analysts to support a strategic initiative focused on developing an AI-powered solution to improve retail store operations.

The project will focus on employee scheduling, store zoning, task management, and operational workflow optimization. Candidates will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and operational leaders to gather requirements, document processes, and support project discovery.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements-gathering sessions and stakeholder workshops.

• Document current-state business processes and operational workflows.

• Prepare business and functional requirements, BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and business rules.

• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

• Identify business challenges, dependencies, and process improvement opportunities.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to validate requirements.

• Support AI solution discovery, product planning, backlog prioritization, and future delivery activities.

• Maintain project documentation and communicate progress, risks, and decisions.

🔹 Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role.

• Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills.

• Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews and cross-functional workshops.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to document business processes, functional requirements, and workflows.

• Experience working in dynamic business and technology environments.

🔹 Preferred Qualifications

• Retail, store operations, or multi-location business experience.

• Exposure to AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.

• Experience with workforce management, employee scheduling, or task management systems.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, product backlogs, and user stories.

• Experience with mobile applications or operational technology platforms.
