We have an opportunity for an experienced Acquisition Specialist / Contract Specialist supporting a federal government program in Washington, DC (onsite).

Job Description
We are seeking experienced Federal Contract Specialists / Acquisition Specialists to provide cradle-to-grave acquisition support for a federal government program. The role includes both pre-award and post-award contracting activities in accordance with federal procurement regulations.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience (one required):
- Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of federal contracting experience
OR - 24 business-related college credits + 7 years of federal contracting experience
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience performing full lifecycle (cradle-to-grave) federal contracting
- Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) including Parts 8, 12, 13, 15, and 16
- Experience with BPA, IDIQ, and Task Orders
- Experience with federal contract vehicles such as GSA MAS, OASIS+, and other multi-agency or enterprise vehicles
- Experience preparing acquisition documentation including:
- Acquisition plans
- Solicitations (RFP/RFQ)
- Awards and modifications
- Justifications and approvals (J&A)
- Combined synopsis/solicitations
- Experience performing cost and price analysis and developing pre-negotiation positions
- Experience supporting source selection activities, competitive range development, and evaluation documentation
- Experience supporting protest responses
- Knowledge of government contract writing systems such as PRISM
- Experience using FPDS and SAM.gov
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle procurement-sensitive or other secure information and follow OPSEC procedures
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting law enforcement–related contracts
- Experience supporting IT hardware and software contracts
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work onsite in Washington, DC
