Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Systems Engineer to join an innovative engineering business delivering complex projects within highly regulated industries. Working across the full engineering lifecycle, you'll play a key role in defining, integrating and validating multidisciplinary systems, ensuring solutions meet technical, safety and customer requirements from concept through to commissioning.

This position would suit a Systems Engineer with experience in the nuclear, defence, aerospace or other highly regulated sectors who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges. It will appeal to someone who is passionate about systems thinking, requirements management and working collaboratively across mechanical, electrical and software engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of systems engineering activities throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept to commissioning
* Capture, analyse and manage system and stakeholder requirements, ensuring full traceability through to verification
* Develop and maintain system architectures, functional models and interface definitions using recognised systems engineering methodologies
* Support multidisciplinary integration, verification, validation and safety case activities to ensure compliant project delivery
* Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to deliver robust, high-quality technical solutions that meet project objectives
