Im currently working with a leading UK technology and software consultancy that is looking to add an experienced Senior Software Engineer to one of their Central Government delivery teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Full Stack Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working with modern technologies, and having genuine ownership across the software development lifecycle.

Youll join an Agile engineering team delivering bespoke software solutions for high-profile customers, working across areas including:

• Full-stack software development using Java, TypeScript/JavaScript and React

• Designing, developing and testing high-quality software

• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with tools such as GitLab

• Working with AWS and Azure cloud environments

• Contributing across the full software lifecycle from requirements and architecture through to deployment and ongoing support

• Working closely with customers and technical stakeholders

• Taking technical leadership responsibility where appropriate to your experience

They're particularly interested in speaking with Senior Engineers who have strong commercial experience with:

• Java
• TypeScript / JavaScript
• React
• AWS and/or Azure
• Agile software development
• Modern CI/CD and software engineering practices

Due to the nature of the projects, youll need to be eligible to obtain UK security clearance.

You must hold a British passport and have been permanently resident in the UK for the last 5 years.
