 Key Responsibilities
Work with business, product, technology, and operations stakeholders to gather and document payment-processing requirements.
Translate business requirements into BRDs, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mappings.
Analyze end-to-end payment flows, business rules, validations, exceptions, and reconciliation requirements.
Support solution discussions between business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA, and operations teams.
Perform functional analysis for enhancements, defects, regulatory changes, and modernization initiatives.
Support test-case review, UAT, defect clarification, release readiness, and production implementation.
Analyze payment messages and transaction flows and assist teams with functional issue resolution.
Required Skills
Strong Payments domain/business analysis experience.
Understanding of payment processing lifecycle, transaction flows, settlement/reconciliation, exceptions, and payment statuses.
Knowledge of ISO 20022 / payment messaging is highly desirable. Existing client-related material includes payment experience around ISO 20022 messages such as pacs.008, pacs.004, pacs.002 and pacs.003.
Good understanding of APIs, system integrations, data mapping, and relational databases/SQL.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed business and engineering teams.
