Title: Senior Systems Analyst
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)  (Must be local to MI only)
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Description:
An experienced System Analyst 6 to provide technical support for COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) and SaaS applications supporting the Management and Budget side of DTMB.
This role combines systems administration, application support, cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting, technical analysis, and requirements gathering. The successful candidate will work closely with vendors, customers, infrastructure teams, and other technical groups to implement application changes, resolve technical issues, improve system security, and support new initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux environments, along with Azure cloud infrastructure, application servers, networking, security, monitoring, and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot systems and application components across Windows and Linux environments.
Provide technical support for COTS and SaaS applications.
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Research technical options and present recommendations for application and infrastructure solutions.
Support both ongoing application enhancements and new technical initiatives.
Configure and implement applications within Microsoft Azure.
Troubleshoot application, server, network, and infrastructure issues.
Monitor system and application performance using tools such as Dynatrace or similar monitoring/debugging platforms.
Support IIS and Tomcat application environments.
Perform SQL Server administration and troubleshooting using MS SQL Server Management Studio.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for administration and automation.
Work with Azure DevOps for application and infrastructure-related activities.
Support authentication and SSO solutions using SAML, OAuth, and OpenID.
Analyze and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, firewall, and other network-related issues.
Develop and maintain technical and architecture diagrams using tools such as Microsoft Visio.
Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across applications and infrastructure.
Support cloud-based applications, containerized environments, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Collaborate with vendors, customers, developers, infrastructure teams, and other technical stakeholders.
Ensure applications and infrastructure comply with applicable Federal, State, and industry security standards.
Document technical configurations, solutions, procedures, and architecture.
Required Qualifications:
5–7+ Years of Experience
Installing and configuring systems and applications in Windows and Linux environments.
Gathering and documenting requirements, researching options, analyzing problems, and recommending technical solutions.
Windows Server administration, preferably Windows Server 2016 or later.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 or later.
Enterprise application and server support.
Monitoring, troubleshooting, networking, firewalls, and infrastructure architecture.
Vulnerability identification and remediation.
Technical Skills:

Implementing and configuring applications within Azure Cloud infrastructure.
Working with Azure services and cloud infrastructure.
Containerization technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
