My client, a defence based organisation are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support digital engineering projects.

The client requires a Business Analyst with experience in ONE or more of the following areas: Synthetics, ITEA or TLS.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business and stakeholder requirements.
• Manage requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• Maintain requirements baselines, traceability and change control.
• Support requirement decomposition, allocation and impact assessments.
• Work closely with engineering, development and verification teams.
• Coordinate stakeholders and ensure requirements are aligned with technical delivery.
• Support reviews, validation activities, audits and governance.
• Produce and review business and technical documentation.

Essential Experience

• Strong Business Analysis and Requirements Management experience.
• Practical experience in one or more of:
  • Synthetics - Model & Simulation
  • ITEA - Integrated Test, Evaluation & Assurance / Virtual & Physical Testing, Qualification & Certification
  • TLS - Training & Through Life Support
• Experience within Aerospace or Defence environments.
• Strong requirements elicitation, traceability and change management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience delivering or supporting digital/engineering tools.

Desirable

• Knowledge of aircraft certification, qualification and regulatory processes.
• Experience working in regulated development environments.
• ArchiMate and/or TOGAF.
• Experience working with Defence Primes, MoD or system integrators/suppliers.
• Experience working across international/transnational teams.
• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
