Retail Business Analyst - Mortgage Transformation

Hybrid - London

£450 (Inside IR35) per a day

We are seeking experienced Retail Business Analysts to join a major mortgage transformation initiative. In this role, you will play a critical part in a large-scale mortgage migration programme, taking ownership of product analysis, source-to-target data mapping, transformation requirements, and go-live readiness.

• Analyze end-to-end UK mortgage products, servicing workflows, customer journeys, and arrears/retention processes.
• Author clear, high-quality business and functional requirements, user stories, detailed target process maps, and data specifications.
• Perform detailed source-to-target mapping, identifying key gaps across data, legacy products, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with mortgage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), operations, data architects, and technical teams to design robust business and transformation rules.
• Drive operational readiness by supporting migration rehearsals, data reconciliations, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and cutover execution.

• Proven track record as a Business Analyst within retail banking.
• In-depth knowledge of the UK mortgage market, including products, servicing, arrears, and retention operations.
• Hands-on experience with mortgage migration, core banking transformation, or servicing platform migrations.
• Proven track record in source-to-target data mapping, data profiling, and transformation requirements.
• Excellent workshop facilitation skills with a strong ability to manage senior operational and technical stakeholders.

• Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks, including MCOB, FCA compliance, and Consumer Duty.
• Background in analyzing legacy product terms and conditions and contractual migration requirements.
