Civil Engineer - Highways and drainage design<br />London<br />£48,000 - £55,000 per annum<br />You're an experienced Civil Engineer who's been designing roads and drainage for at least 4-5 years now, so I won't bore you with a job description.<br />Here's the story...<br />This well-established and continuously growing multi-discipline consultancy has created the opportunity for an ambitious, skilled Civil Engineer to join the team at Senior Engineer level.<br />This is where you come in.

You're looking to achieve chartered status with the ICE - why not join and take your place on an ICE-accredited training scheme?<br />With a strong background in both roads and drainage design, ideally in the private sector, you're proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (or PDS) as well as Windes Microdrainage.<br />Here, you'll be given the opportunity to use your skills to your advantage, taking on a more autonomous and independent role in an already established and highly technical design team.<br />Having kept busy through 2026, these guys are now looking to further develop the Civil Engineering team and as a result are looking for a new Senior Engineer to come on board and become part of the family as the work continues to flow in.<br />This is a rare opportunity, as due to their excellent staff development, they rarely have opportunities to join at this level.<br />You will be working on a good variety of projects up to £100m in value including mixed-use developments, schools, hospitals and much more.<br />This is your opportunity to provide expert input on a range of services including drainage (SUDS), roads, earthworks, regeneration and Flood Risk Assessment - whilst also being rewarded for your efforts.<br />It's a career-defining opportunity for you as a Civil Engineer, so there is no need to put a CV together right now.
