Job Description

Payrate: $27.67 - $29.64/hr.
 
Summary:
The Hardware (HW) team in the Data Center Engineering (DCE) group is seeking a Hardware Technician to support the debug and validation of Solid State Drives (SSD). This role involves assisting the HW design team with reworking components on printed circuit boards (PCB), circuit design, debug and validation of SSD hardware, setting up lab environments, and performing various electrical validation tasks.
 
Responsibilities
  • Support HW design team with PCB rework and circuit design.
  • Debug and validate SSD hardware.
  • Set up and maintain lab environments for testing.
  • Perform electrical validation tasks and take measurements.
  • Follow test procedures for electrical validation.
  • Manage HW lab, including maintaining equipment calibration and inventory.
 
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Electronics or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in:
    • PCB rework and electrical HW debugging.
    • Familiarity with Windows/Linux host setups.
    • Setting up test environments.
    • Using lab equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $27.67 - $29.64/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
