Job Description:

Projects

Conduct current-state discovery sessions with business stakeholders in collaboration with the Technical Lead and development team.

Document current-state processes using Jira, process flows, wireframes, and other appropriate artifacts.

Collaborate with the Technical Lead and developers to define and document future-state solutions.

Translate business requirements and proposed solutions into detailed Jira stories, including epics, acceptance criteria, level of effort, and development resources.

Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies with client stakeholders through daily (MondayThursday) standups and ad-hoc Slack communication.

Serve as the primary solution validator, conducting unit testing in lower environments, and working directly with developers to address defects or required changes.

Partner with the Project Manager and Technical Lead to develop deployment checklists and deployment plans.

Conduct testing during deployments and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues.

Salesforce Support

Conduct bi-weekly Salesforce enhancement grooming sessions with IT stakeholders to review and prioritize business requests.

Translate prioritized enhancement requests into detailed Jira stories with clear requirements and acceptance criteria, engaging business stakeholders as needed for clarification.

Plan and manage prioritized requests within Jira sprints, collaborating with development resources to establish level of effort and ensure alignment on requirements.

Conduct sprint demos with IT stakeholders and, when appropriate, business stakeholders to validate completed functionality before promotion to higher environments.

Unit test enhancements and fixes as they progress through three Salesforce sandboxes, collaborating with the QA resource and ensuring QA has sufficient context to develop effective test coverage.

Conduct final validation testing in Production and communicate completed enhancements and fixes to the business.

Collaborate with developers and the Project Manager to coordinate off-release hot fixes, following established development, testing, and deployment processes.

Monitor Slack email channels to manage and respond to client requests, questions, and issues.

Project Planning

Own and administer Jira spaces for Salesforce Support, Project, and Audit workstreams, including shared Salesforce Support and Project spaces with another consulting partner.

Establish and manage three-week sprint cadences and epics, reviewing Jira boards during daily (MondayThursday) standups to track progress, identify blockers, and move work forward.

Partner with the Project Manager to prepare weekly project status reporting, including GANTT and other project visualization tools as required.

Participate in weekly executive status meetings on Fridays, jointly leading project updates with the Project Manager and communicating progress, risks, and upcoming priorities.
