Job Description

Join our ICT & Security team to support the design and management of integrated information, communication technology and security solutions. You will help design and support secure, efficient communication networks across sectors such as Defence, Data Centres, Network and communication systems, Space, Commercial, Hospitals, Highways, Rail & Metro, and Airports.

How you'll make a difference
  • Support the design and implementation of ICT systems, including structured cabling, active networks, WLAN, IPTV, audio-visual systems, video conferencing, and intercoms.
  • Assist in developing and integrating security systems such as CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, perimeter intrusion detection, and Type 1A security alarm systems.
  • Assist with site assessments and support the installation and testing of ICT and security systems.
  • Contribute to the development of technical specifications, proposals, and technical documentation for clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to help achieve project objectives.

Qualifications
  • Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
  • Bachelor's Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with electives in Security, Networking or Telecommunication.
  • Commencement: Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 - mid February 2027.
  • Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
