Senior Security Engineer

Required Skills

• Bachelor''s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Around 10 or more years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with strong expertise in infrastructure and cloud security engineering.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise security solutions across on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
• Hands-on experience administering enterprise firewall platforms and network security controls.
• Solid knowledge of identity and access management using Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Experience securing Microsoft Azure environments using industry best practices and cloud security controls.
• Familiarity with endpoint security, endpoint detection, and data protection solutions, including DLP technologies.
• Experience performing third-party/vendor security assessments, security reviews, and risk evaluations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing enterprise mobile device management (MDM) solutions such as Microsoft Intune.
• Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Familiarity with SIEM, XDR, or security monitoring platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Secureworks, or equivalent enterprise security tools.
• Experience working with managed security service providers (MSSPs), vulnerability management, and threat detection/response solutions.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, HITECH, or similar industry standards.
• Experience planning or delivering security awareness and user education programs.
• Hands-on experience implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) and identity security solutions, including platforms such as Okta.
