Avionics Hardware Design Engineer – Global Navigation Satellite System

Melbourne, FL (Onsite)

Location: Melbourne, FL (Onsite Only)
Experience: 2–5 years (up to 8–9 years max)

Job Description:
We are seeking an Avionics Hardware Design Engineer with a GNSS specialization to support a critical aerospace client, fully onsite in Melbourne, FL.

Key Skills:

  • SPICE Simulation: LTSpice, PSpice, TINA
  • Avionics Navigation Products: DME, VOR/LOC, ILS, Marker Beacon, GNSS, ADF, Radar Altimeter
  • ECAD Tools: Mentor Graphics Xpedition, PCB Design
  • FAA Certification: FAA TSO, Technical Standard Order
  • Environmental Qualification: DO-160, MIL-STD-461, EMI/EMC
  • RF/Microwave Design & Simulation: HFSS, ADS, Microwave Office, MATLAB
  • Hardware Development: Requirements Analysis, Hardware Specifications, Test Plans
  • Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and technical communication skills
