Senior Citrix Engineer (TS/SCI Required)
Location: Arlington, VA (100% On-Site)
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI Clearance Required
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary Range: $107,900 - $190,050 Position Overview
SDA Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Citrix Engineer to support a mission-critical Department of Defense program in Arlington, Virginia. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, highly available Citrix environments that support enterprise virtualization initiatives across classified networks.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience engineering Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and supporting enterprise virtualization technologies in secure government environments. This role will also lead infrastructure modernization efforts, automation initiatives, and performance optimization while ensuring compliance with DoD security requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support highly available Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments. Engineer and maintain Citrix Cloud, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), StoreFront, and Workspace Environment Management (WEM) solutions. Design Citrix infrastructure supporting both on-premises and cloud-based environments, including Azure and AWS. Develop PowerShell automation to streamline system administration, deployments, and configuration management.

Integrate DoD security requirements into Citrix environments through system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance best practices. Monitor and optimize Citrix infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, and user experience. Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and platform modernization initiatives while minimizing operational downtime. Implement user profile and workspace management solutions utilizing technologies such as ProfileUnity, Citrix Profile Management, and User Layering.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, disaster recovery procedures, and operational runbooks. Troubleshoot complex Citrix infrastructure issues and provide advanced engineering support for enterprise virtualization environments. Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems engineering teams to ensure secure, reliable service delivery. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.

Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments. Active TS/SCI security clearance. Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification. Extensive experience with Citrix ADC (NetScaler), StoreFront, Workspace Environment Management (WEM), and Citrix Cloud. Strong experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise virtualization technologies. Experience developing PowerShell automation for enterprise infrastructure management.

Experience supporting highly available enterprise Citrix environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting DISA or other Department of Defense enterprise environments. Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph. Experience optimizing virtual desktop performance and enterprise virtualization platforms. Experience integrating Citrix technologies with Liquidware ProfileUnity or similar user environment management solutions.
