Job Description

We are seeking a VTEX Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in VTEX headless implementations, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript and a proven ability to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance digital commerce solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Build custom React applications and reusable components.


• Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.


• Create and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs.


• Integrate third-party services including payment gateways, ERPs, CRMs, and logistics providers.


• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.


• Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.


• Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes.


• Collaborate with UX designers, QA engineers, and product owners.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of software development experience.


• Hands-on experience with headless VTEX implementations.


• Strong knowledge of Next.js.


• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.


• Experience with Node.js for backend development.


• Experience building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.


• Git version control proficiency.


• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design practices.


• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• PHP.

• Work location: Remote. Candidate must be located in the United States. Remote hub: Chicago.
