American Iron & Metal (AIM) is a family-owned company and recognized global leader in the metal recycling industry with more than 125 sites and 4000 employees worldwide. We have continued to prosper for the last eight decades thanks to the dedication of our employees and the ongoing trust and support of our customers.

Become part of team AIM, a growing team with an entrepreneurial spirit who has over the years evolved into a successful and multifaceted company with business divisions that include metal recycling, decommissioning and demolition, auto-parts sales and recycling, manufacturing of solder assemblies, construction waste recycling, and production of customized industrial and mining products.

We take pride in doing good things for the environment to help create a greener, more
sustainable future for all.

It’s simple; we do it right. We AIM for excellence.

We’re hiring an Associate Account Manager an entry-level position designed for recent graduates who want to build a career in sales and account management. This role is the first step toward becoming a full Account Manager. After completing your training and demonstrating success, you’ll transition into managing your own portfolio of clients, negotiating contracts, and driving revenue growth.

      What you’re responsible for:

      • Completing extensive hands-on training in the yard, gaining experience in material flow, safety protocols, and metal recycling logistics.
      • Supporting account managers with client relationships, pricing strategies, and account performance analysis.
      • Learning negotiation techniques and understanding market dynamics to prepare for managing your own client portfolio.
      • Collaborating with operations teams to ensure service excellence and deliver effective solutions.
      • Transitioning to a full Account Manager after successful training, managing clients, negotiating contracts, and driving revenue growth.
      • Assisting with reporting and data analysis to monitor account performance and identify growth opportunities.

      What we're looking for:

      • Recent graduate in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
      • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
      • Willingness to work in both office and yard environments during training
      • Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn the business end-to-end

      What we offer:

      • A competitive wage ($25-$28 hourly), vacation, benefits and a 401k matching program
      • Annual AIM tuition scholarship program up to $8,500 per eligible dependents
      • The tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional development
      • A dynamic & rewarding work environment that is also a lot of fun!
