Technical Business Analyst (EH&S BACKGROUND WOULD BE HUGE ADD)
Location: Dallas, TX
6 months
 
Work Schedule: 5 days onsite (Monday–Friday) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support large-scale enterprise technology initiatives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of working on complex enterprise-level projects, partnering with cross-functional technical and business teams, and translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.
 
This role requires someone who is comfortable working onsite with stakeholders, driving requirements from discovery through implementation, and supporting the successful delivery of enterprise applications and technology solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements.
Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings across multiple business units.
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and technology optimization.
Collaborate with engineering, QA, infrastructure, and project management teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Support solution design by ensuring business requirements align with technical architecture and enterprise standards.
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), defect triage, production validation, and implementation activities.
Create and maintain project documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements documents (FRDs), workflow diagrams, and process documentation.
Manage changing priorities while supporting multiple workstreams across large enterprise initiatives.
Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to technical and business leadership.
 
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst supporting enterprise technology initiatives.
Demonstrated experience working on large, complex enterprise environments supporting enterprise-scale applications and systems.
Experience working for Fortune 500 or similarly large organizations with complex business and technical ecosystems.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Experience writing detailed business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive-level business stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
Experience with requirements management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar platforms.
Ability to analyze system integrations, data flows, APIs, and enterprise application architecture at a high level.
Bachelor''s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
 
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) applications, business processes, or regulatory initiatives is highly preferred.******* HIGHLY FAVORABLE!!!****
Experience with enterprise ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
Experience with system integrations, data mapping, and enterprise reporting solutions.
