Job Title Outsystems Application Support Resourc | 100% Remote Role

Overview

The team recently launched an OutSystems-based workflow application that is currently in hypercare. This role will focus on supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the application while ensuring it continues to meet security and compliance standards. Applications are reviewed through the SPOT security process, and any identified issues are tracked through remediation and closure.
Team Structure
  • Hypercare support will initially be handled by a single dedicated resource.
  • The broader team consists of 5 members and is considered stable.
  • The application launched approximately 4 months ago.
  • Support volume is expected to increase as adoption and usage grow.
Key Responsibilities
  • Quickly learn the application, business workflow, and OutSystems environment.
  • Become the subject matter expert (SME) for the application over time.
  • Manage, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects.
  • Monitor and remediate issues identified through security reviews.
  • Maintain application documentation and support processes.
  • Take ownership of ongoing application health and stability.
  • Act as the primary internal champion for the platform.
  • Implement enhancements, new features, and application upgrades as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure ongoing support and maintenance needs are met.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on OutSystems experience.
  • Proven application support and production issue resolution experience.
  • Development background with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Experience managing defects through resolution.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with application security standards and remediation processes.
  • SQL knowledge and database troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience supporting workflow-based applications in a production environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This is not a junior-level role. The team is seeking a technically strong OutSystems professional who can take ownership of an existing production application, serve as the go-to expert, drive issue resolution, maintain security compliance, and support future enhancements as the application scales.
