Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop and manage grid-scale BESS engineering projects, managing all aspects including cost, programme and risk.

• Oversee all project stages from initial planning through to commissioning.

• Collaboration with internal project engineers and external consultants to ensure project success.

• Engage and manage a range of stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare and conduct hand over processes from commissioning to operations.

• Monitor technical and logistical components, incorporating feedback into future designs and processes.

• Communication of lessons learned and identification of continuous improvement.

• Support business development to expand project opportunities.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified, ideally in a STEM subject.

• Preferable experience in the power industry such as BESS, renewables, ICPs, DNOs, or utilities.

• Demonstrable experience of delivering large scale engineering projects.

• Ability to manage project timescales and financials accurately and create accurate reporting throughout the lifecycle.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Positive, self motivated and accountable problem solver.

• Familiar with UK regulations, HSE standards and compliance frameworks.

• Commutable to Cheltenham office.
