Oracle Cloud Order Management Functional Consultant

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Order Management Functional Consultant to support Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management implementation and business process initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional activities for Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management (OM).
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Conduct Fit-Gap analysis, solution design, configuration and functional documentation.
• Configure and support end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Work with Order Management, Pricing, Inventory, Shipping, Procurement and Receivables teams.
• Configure order types, orchestration processes, fulfillment lines, holds, approvals and processing constraints.
• Work with Global Order Promising (GOP) and fulfillment processes as required.
• Support integrations between OM and other Oracle Cloud modules and third-party applications.
• Work with technical teams on OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, BI Publisher and OTBI requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications and support technical design activities.
• Lead SIT, UAT, CRP and end-user testing.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate defect resolution.
• Support data migration, cutover and go-live activities.
• Conduct workshops and provide training to business users.
• Work closely with client stakeholders, offshore teams and cross-functional Oracle Cloud teams.

Requirements

• 14+ years of Oracle Order Management experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management.
• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
• Experience with:

  • Inventory
  • Shipping/Fulfillment
  • Global Order Promising (GOP)
  • Receivables
  • Procurement
• Strong experience with Oracle Cloud configuration and functional design.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud implementations, upgrades or rollouts.
• Good understanding of OIC and Oracle Cloud integrations.
• Experience with REST/SOAP, FBDI, OTBI and BI Publisher is preferred.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with offshore/onshore teams.

Travel Requirement

• Hybrid role
• Must be willing to travel approximately 2 weeks per month to the client site.
• Client site is located in the Eastern Time Zone (EST).
• Candidates must be comfortable with recurring travel and working onsite for approximately 50% of the engagement.

Preferred

• Oracle Fusion Cloud OM certification.
• Experience with complex global O2C implementations.
• Experience integrating OM with WMS, 3PL, EBS, Salesforce or other third-party systems.
• Manufacturing, distribution or supply chain industry experience.
• Previous experience working in a client-facing consulting environment.
