SAP Retail- MM/SD/MRP Consultant

You will serve as the subject matter expert responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing the SAP solution for ship store operations, galley and food services. 

This is a hands-on configuration role requiring both deep SAP functional expertise and will own the full configuration lifecycle from KDD (Key Design Decision) workshops through sprint-based delivery, unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance, in an agile methodology framework.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design & Configuration

• Lead Requirement discussions for ship store, galley, and services process areas 
• Design and configure SAP S/4HANA MM (Materials Management) for ship store and galley inventory: material types, valuation, movement types, MRP, FEFO batch management, and HAZMAT controls
• Configure SAP SD for ship store sales transactions, retail pricing, customer master (ship store customer), billing, and customer integration
• Design and configure enlisted dining accounting: headcount-based meal cost allocation, subsistence entitlement management, and galley financial reporting per force element
• Define and document SPRO configuration workbooks for all retail and food service requirements aligned to RTM acceptance criteria

Agile Delivery

-  Participate in PI planning and sprint planning as the Retail & Food Services functional lead

-  Deliver configured User Stories to configured in SAP → transport created → unit test passed → acceptance criteria met → security role validated → JIRA closed

- Author and review functional specifications for RICEFW objects (interfaces, custom ship store reports, MILSTRIP extensions, galley headcount enhancements)

- Execute unit tests per sprint and participate in cross-module integration testing (OTC, PTP, PTS process areas)

-  Coordinate with EWM workstream on shipboard storeroom warehouse structure for galley and ship store storage locations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• SAP Certified Application Associate — SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement, Supply Chain, or Retail
• Familiarity with SAP Defense and Security module: force element hierarchy, disconnected operations, and military-specific custom infotypes
• Experience delivering in an Agile SAP Activate framework: sprint planning, backlog management, and sprint reviews with Product Owners
• Active Secret clearance / Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
