DevOps Software Engineer | Hyattsville, MD, United States | Remote | $107,900.00 - $195,050.00 This employer is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Software Engineer to contribute to a cutting-edge technology stack supporting critical government missions. The role offers an opportunity to work on a long-term program modernization effort within a collaborative and innovative team environment. The Role • Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big-data pipeline built on Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka • Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation to accelerate development and improve reliability • Design and support scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments • Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features and evolving requirements • Partner with Systems Engineers to architect solutions for new capabilities • Contribute technical input to engineering documentation, diagrams, and models What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of relevant experience; 6+ years with a Master’s • Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph • Strong Linux proficiency • Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes • Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab • Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana What's On Offer • Competitive salary range • Flexible work schedule with occasional remote opportunities • Opportunity to work on mission-critical capabilities • Exposure to a collaborative, innovative, and growth-oriented team Apply via Haystack today!
