Trade & Transaction Reporting AVP – Investment Bank - CassonX

CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for one of the biggest names in Global Banking. This is an excellent opportunity to join a Trade & Transaction Reporting function supporting the accurate, complete and timely delivery of regulatory reporting across the Financial Markets business.

This varied role will see you cover all aspects of regulatory reporting controls within a high volume Financial Markets environment. The main responsibility will see you execute and oversee daily reconciliation controls, monitoring reporting completeness, pairing and matching, UTI alignment and counterparty reporting, while supporting daily regulatory reporting submissions and validation processes. You will investigate reporting breaks and exceptions, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate remediation with relevant stakeholders, ensuring issues are resolved within appropriate regulatory and internal control frameworks.

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify someone with experience of working within a Regulatory Reporting, Trade & Transaction Reporting, or similar control environment, with strong exposure to reconciliations and investigating complex exceptions. You must have a good understanding of the trade lifecycle and regulatory reporting processes, with knowledge of EMIR, MiFIR and/or SFTR highly desirable. Experience across UTI/UPI frameworks, counterparty reporting, data lineage and regulatory reporting controls will be beneficial, alongside the ability to manage large volumes of exceptions and prioritise issues according to regulatory and business impact.

There is also a strong change and continuous improvement element to the role. You will monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on existing processes and controls, translating new requirements into business requirements, process enhancements and system changes. You will work closely with Technology teams on system enhancements, testing and implementation, whilst producing MI, exception reporting and governance updates for senior stakeholders.
