This employer is seeking a skilled Laborant to join its quality control team in Mannheim. The Role

• Conduct, evaluate, and document laboratory tests on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products (microbiological, chemical-physical).
• Assist the lab management in implementing and maintaining the quality and laboratory management system.
• Optimize and develop testing methods, along with documenting and evaluating experimental procedures and results.
• Apply modern analytical techniques.
• Fulfill training and educational requirements while adhering to GLP guidelines.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training in the food industry or chemical laboratories, ideally as a Biology Lab Assistant (BTA) or equivalent through relevant professional experience.
• Ideally, experience in quality control within the food industry.
• Proficient in using modern IT applications, including MS Office and SAP.
• Good written and spoken German and English language skills.
• Strong team and organizational abilities.
• Independent, thorough, and reliable work ethic.
• Willingness to work shifts.
