Roles & Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Agile Delivery

Own and manage the Product Backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic priorities.

Define and maintain product roadmaps, release plans, and sprint objectives.

Lead backlog refinement, story grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and prioritize product enhancements.

Partner with Scrum Masters and development teams to ensure successful sprint execution.

Requirements Analysis & Solution Definition

Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.

Translate business requirements into solution requirements and actionable development tasks.

Create and manage:

o Epics

o Features

o User Stories

o Acceptance Criteria

o Business Process Flows

o Functional Specifications

Clearly communicate business context and expected outcomes to development and QA teams.

Facilitate workshops, process discussions, and requirement review sessions.

Target process & Agile Tools

Utilize Target process extensively for:

o Product backlog management

o Epic and feature creation

o User story definition

o Release planning

o Capacity planning

o Agile reporting and tracking

Ensure traceability from business objectives through delivery and deployment.

Estimation & Planning

Lead story estimation exercises using:

o T-Shirt Sizing

o Story Points

o Relative Estimation Techniques

Support sprint forecasting, dependency management, and release planning.

Identify product risks, impediments, and mitigation strategies.

Insurance Domain Responsibilities

Work closely with business and technology teams across:

o Policy Administration

o Claims Management

o Underwriting

o Billing & Payments

o Customer Experience

o Agency/Broker Operations

Drive modernization and digital transformation initiatives within insurance platforms.

Ensure regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements are appropriately addressed.

GenAI & Agentic AI Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify opportunities for Generative AI solutions across insurance operations.

Understand foundational GenAI concepts including:

o Large Language Models (LLMs)

o Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

o Prompt Engineering

o AI-assisted workflow automation

o AI-driven customer service and claims support

Participate in defining business use cases leveraging AI technologies.

Work with solution architects and AI teams to translate AI opportunities into product features and backlog items.

Demonstrate understanding of Agentic AI concepts, including:

o Autonomous AI agents

o Multi-agent workflows

o Goal-based task execution

o Human-in-the-loop decision frameworks

o AI orchestration and workflow automation

Evaluate business value, risks, governance, and compliance considerations associated with AI-enabled solutions.
