Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Governance & Management Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Purview, enterprise data architecture, and healthcare data management. The ideal candidate will support South Dakota Medicaid Modernization by developing and improving data governance strategies, data catalogs, data lineage, interface registries, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) across Medicaid applications.

The candidate will collaborate with state IT teams and Medicaid stakeholders to analyze existing data flows, document system integrations, establish data management standards, identify risks, and recommend tools and process improvements. Strong experience in healthcare data systems, data modeling, SQL and NoSQL databases, interface documentation, and enterprise data governance is essential.

Key Requirements:

• Expert-level Microsoft Purview expertise.

• Senior-level healthcare experience, preferably with Medicaid/MMIS systems.

• Strong knowledge of data governance, data catalogs, and data lineage.

• Experience developing Interface Control Documents (ICDs), interface registries, and interface management plans.

• Proficiency in SQL, relational and NoSQL databases.

• Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio.

• Knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.

• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills.
