The Role • Deliver key Warship Technical Authority (WTA) service elements, including design change, technical assurance, and obsolescence management. • Provide mechanical engineering support across diverse platform systems, equipment, and critical marine services. • Contribute engineering input to multiple projects, including complex platforms and international naval programmes. • Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify and manage platform system requirements. • Support investigations and impact assessments to enable evidence-based technical decisions. • Ensure safe and efficient implementation of design changes while maintaining configuration control. What You'll Need • Broad knowledge of complex platform systems across UK and international markets. • Good understanding of applicable industry standards and governance frameworks. • Ability to apply mechanical engineering knowledge quickly and confidently to a wide range of platforms and projects. • Experienced professional engineer at Chartered Engineer (CEng) level or equivalent capability. • Proven ability to provide effective technical guidance and influence.
