ERP/CRM Consultant

Description
We are looking for an experienced ERP/CRM Consultant with strong Workday Financials expertise to help improve and refine an established enterprise environment in Iowa City, Iowa. This Long-term Contract position focuses on strengthening financial system performance, supporting business needs, and identifying practical opportunities for continued optimization. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on knowledge of Workday ERP capabilities and a track record of delivering effective functional guidance in complex organizations.

Responsibilities

Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to evaluate current Workday Financials processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy. Configure, test, and support enhancements within the Workday Financial Management platform to align system capabilities with business objectives. Analyze existing workflows, reporting needs, and functional gaps, then translate findings into scalable system solutions. Provide day-to-day consulting support for Workday ERP-related issues, including troubleshooting, impact assessment, and resolution planning.

Coordinate testing activities for system updates, configuration changes, and ongoing enhancement efforts to ensure reliable performance. Develop functional documentation, process guidance, and user support materials to promote consistent adoption across teams. Collaborate with cross-functional partners on financial system initiatives, including any relevant process or platform changes when needed. Monitor system effectiveness and recommend best practices that help optimize reporting, controls, and overall financial operations.

Requirements
5+ years of experience working in ERP or CRM consulting roles, with significant focus on Workday Financials. Proven hands-on expertise with Workday Financial Management and broader Workday ERP functionality. Strong understanding of finance-related business processes, system configuration, and functional analysis. Experience gathering business requirements and converting them into practical system recommendations and solutions. Ability to support testing, issue resolution, and enhancement delivery within a live enterprise application environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and leadership stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage priorities independently in a consulting-focused, long-term contract engagement. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
