Role Title: Workday Financials consultant with experience in Prism and Reports

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Financial Reporting & Prism Analytics Consultant to design, develop, and support enterprise financial reporting solutions within the Workday ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics, and Financial Management processes, enabling business stakeholders to make data-driven decisions through accurate, insightful, and secure reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting & Analytics Development

Gather, analyze, and document business reporting requirements from Finance stakeholders.

Design, develop, and maintain Workday reporting solutions, including:

o Advanced Reports

o Matrix Reports

o Composite Reports

o Dashboards

o Discovery Boards

Develop and maintain calculated fields, custom prompts, filters, and complex reporting logic to address business requirements.

Create and enhance financial reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Workday Prism Analytics

Build, manage, and optimize Workday Prism Analytics datasets, data pipelines, transformations, and validation processes.

Integrate Workday and external data sources to provide consolidated financial reporting and advanced analytics capabilities.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all Prism Analytics solutions.

Financial Reporting Support

Design and deliver reporting solutions for key Finance business areas, including:

o General Ledger (GL)

o Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

o Record-to-Report (R2R)

o Expenses Management

o Accounts Payable (AP)

o Invoicing

o Accounting Center

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close reporting activities.

Partner with Finance teams to provide actionable insights and improve reporting efficiency.

Testing, Compliance & Support

Perform unit testing, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release validation for reporting solutions.

Troubleshoot reporting issues, investigate data discrepancies, and provide timely defect resolution.

Ensure reporting accuracy, data integrity, security compliance, and audit readiness.

Provide production support and user training for financial reporting tools and dashboards.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, reporting specifications, and data

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Workday Reporting and Financials.

Hands-on experience with Workday Prism Analytics, including datasets, pipelines, and transformations.

Strong knowledge of Workday Financial Management modules and financial reporting processes.

Expertise in Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Reports, Dashboards, and Discovery Boards.

Experience integrating Workday data with external systems and data sources.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
