We're a Great Place to Work® certified employer, recognised for our commitment to well-being, inclusion and development - and we're growing fast.

Join one of the UK's leading software providers and help education customers successfully move to the cloud.

At IRIS, we're embarking on a significant customer adoption programme that will see thousands of education customers transition from desktop solutions to modern cloud based platforms. We're looking for an Education Migration Consultant to play a pivotal role in ensuring every customer experiences a seamless and successful migration journey.

The Role

As an Education Migration Consultant, you'll work directly with education customers to guide them through the migration process, ensuring data accuracy, payroll integrity, and a positive customer experience from start to finish.

You'll collaborate with internal teams across payroll, HR, support, and managed services while acting as a trusted advisor throughout the implementation journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support education customers moving from desktop software to cloud-based solutions.

  • Prepare and validate customer payroll and HR data for migration.

  • Carry out payroll parallel runs, reconciliations, and validation activities.

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure successful migration outcomes.

  • Deliver training and support to both customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Work collaboratively with payroll, HR, support, and project teams to achieve successful customer outcomes.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong payroll knowledge with excellent customer facing skills.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience within Education Payroll.

  • Knowledge of pensions, HR legislation, and Auto Enrolment.

  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and relationship building abilities.

  • A proactive and organised approach to managing customer projects.

  • Experience working in a customer focused or consultancy environment.

  • Exposure to IRIS Payroll software would be advantageous.

  • A CIPP qualification or equivalent would be desirable.

Why IRIS?

  • Join a business critical transformation programme.

  • Work with a large and diverse education customer base.

  • Be part of a collaborative and supportive team.

  • Develop your expertise in cloud technology and customer migrations.

  • Make a direct impact on customer success and business growth.

If you're passionate about payroll, customer service, and helping organisations embrace new technology, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and help shape the future of education software.
