Job Description

Senior Physician / Specialist (m/f/d) for Child and Adolescent Psychosomatics | Bremen, Germany | On-site

We're hiring for a leading national provider of specialized psychosomatic treatment, renowned for its comprehensive care and commitment to patient well-being. This facility is one of the largest of its kind in Germany, offering advanced therapeutic approaches for adolescents and adults.

The Role

  • Take on initial specialist leadership responsibilities for the psychosomatic youth ward with a view to long-term full specialist leadership.
  • Progressively take responsibility for clinical processes and the entire psychotherapeutic treatment process for adolescents, with guidance.
  • Support the Chief Physician in the role of Senior Physician and contribute significantly to the ward's development.
  • Conduct supervisions for child and adolescent psychotherapists in training.
  • Manage patient admissions, family sessions, and interdisciplinary intervisions to ensure high-quality care.

What You'll Need

  • Completed specialist training or be in the 4th year of training as an assistant physician in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy, with completed or advanced therapy training.
  • Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration within a multidisciplinary team including physicians, psychologists, nurses, educators, and specialist therapists.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Experience or a strong interest in leadership and team development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic clinical environment.
