Job Description

Head of Diabetic and Neuropathic Foot Disorders | Munich, Germany | Hybrid

This leading orthopaedic clinic, recognized for its specialized care and academic affiliations, is seeking a physician to lead their diabetic and neuropathic foot disorder section. Join a dedicated team focused on advancing treatment in a high-caliber medical environment.

The Role

  • Provide comprehensive operative and conservative treatment for national and international patients with diabetic and neuropathic foot conditions.
  • Take on structural and organizational responsibility for the section, actively shaping processes within the center's leadership team.
  • Represent the unit at national and international congresses and training events to enhance visibility.
  • Foster strong relationships with referring physicians, patient advocacy groups, and collaborative specialties like vascular surgery and rehabilitation medicine.
  • Actively engage with professional societies to contribute to the advancement of the field.

What You'll Need

  • Specialist physician qualification in Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery, with a focus on Orthopaedic Surgery or Special Trauma Surgery.
  • Possession of an expert certification such as GFFC or DAF certification, or be an EFAS Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon.
  • Demonstrated commitment to scientific research, ideally with a habilitation or active pursuit of one.
  • Experience in operative and conservative management of foot and ankle pathologies.
