Job Description

Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Business Partner

Oxfordshire | £50,000–£70,000 DOE | Full Time | Hybrid Flexibility

Are you an experienced Executive Assistant who enjoys being one step ahead?

Do you thrive on keeping priorities clear, projects moving and senior leaders focused on what matters most?

Our client is looking for a Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Business Partner to work closely with the CEO across executive support, strategic projects and wider business priorities.

This is much more than a traditional PA role. You’ll act as a trusted right hand to the CEO, bringing structure, pace and follow-through to a busy, fast-moving environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Help the CEO prioritise key business and strategic activity.
  • Turn decisions into clear actions and make sure they happen.
  • Track projects, deadlines and commitments across the organisation.
  • Coordinate colleagues and stakeholders to keep momentum high.
  • Prepare information to support effective decision-making.
  • Take ownership of tasks without needing constant direction.
  • Use technology, AI and automation to improve productivity.
  • Gain exposure to commercial, operational and strategic projects.

There will also be some traditional executive support, including diary coordination, travel, correspondence and meeting preparation.

About You

Your job title is less important than your ability to organise, communicate and get things done.

You could currently be an Executive Assistant, Senior EA, Executive Business Partner, Project Coordinator or Operations professional.

Our client would love to see:

  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent judgement and discretion.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The confidence to follow up actions and challenge when needed.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to work independently.

Experience supporting senior leaders or coordinating complex projects would be a bonus, but transferable skills are very welcome.

The Opportunity

This is a predominantly office-based role in Oxfordshire, with some flexibility for home working.

For someone keen to progress, the role could develop into broader responsibilities across operations, strategic projects, commercial activity or business management.

If you’re looking for a Senior Executive Assistant or Executive Business Partner role in Oxfordshire with real ownership, visibility and variety, we’d love to hear from you.
