Job Description
- (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT) Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, particularly in troubleshooting complex data and system issues
- 3+ years Teradata experience
- Previous government experience or Public Sector experience is a plus
- Experience with cloud-based BI tools
- Experience supporting the loading of data from multiple source systems
- Ability to provide targeted training and technical guidance to development teams for troubleshooting and batch support
- Minimum of 2 years of Linux experience
- Responsible for complex Common Batch Framework and Common Scheduler to ensure current and reliable data is available for critical business processes and decision making.
- Responsible for Data Warehouse change management infrastructure and all promotions of code and ddl; performing build engineer tasks for both manual and automated promotion processes.
- Responsibility for complex Linux security model on DW ETL servers.
- Responsibility for Teradata security and access
- Conduct data architecture reviews and audits to ensure alignment with enterprise standards
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, processes, and solutions
- Responsible for providing support for escalated Data Warehouse issue troubleshooting and resolution.
- Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to improve performance and scalability
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and effective use of enterprise data assets
- Manage and support data integration processes, including ETL workflows across multiple systems
- Prefer local candidates with local work experience
