Job Description

Role: Sr. Data Engineer with Snowflake, Semantic View
Location: Bellevue, WA - Onsite (Locals Preferred from PST)
Exp: 12

Mandatory Areas: Sr. Data Engineer with Snowflake, Semantic Views and/or Cortex Analyst semantic models
Must have Skills – Data Engineering, ETL, SQL, Python, Snowflake
Skill 1 – 7Yrs of Exp – Data Engineering, Snowflake, Semantic View or Cortex Analyst, Semantic Models
Skill 2 – 7Yrs of Exp – ETL, SQL
Skill 3 – 5Yrs of Exp in IT Python
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including advanced SQL, Semantic Views and/or Cortex Analyst semantic models, Dynamic Tables, Streams and Tasks, Snowpipe/Snowpipe Streaming, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience building semantic layers or metrics layers. Relevant tools include Snowflake Semantic Views, dbt Semantic Layer/MetricFlow, AtScale, LookML, or Power BI semantic models.
• Solid dimensional modeling skills (Kimball star/snowflake schemas) and experience modeling high-volume time-series data.
