Job Summary:

The Supplier Quality Engineer II impacts customer satisfaction and continual improvement through monitoring, managing and resolving issues related to supplier quality performance by developing Supplier relationships, auditing Supplier s capabilities, capacities, products, processes and procedures, handling the disposition of Supplier rejections, and coordinating Supplier corrective actions.

• Bachelor s Degree in an Engineering (Electrical/ Mechanical or equivalent technical degree)
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Preferred Certifications/Licenses:
• ASQ-CQE, CQA, or equivalent
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Lead Auditor Certification ISO 9001 and 13485 preferred
• Experience with Mini-tab application plus
• Ability to read Blue Prints, Engineering Drawings
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication (Technical Writing experience a plus)
• Problem solving, analytical, and process improvement skills / experience
• Enterprise-wide Systems Integration (PLM, MRP, MES, ERP, etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management methodologies such as:
• Six-sigma, Lean, Kaizen
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
• Control Plans
• ISO 13485/ISO-9001/AS-9100
• Quality Management Systems
