Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a secure role with a leading manufacturer?

We're recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing processing/manufacturing business in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that invests heavily in its people, equipment and continuous improvement programmes.

You'll play a key role in maintaining production performance through planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown support and involvement in exciting engineering improvement projects.



The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across manufacturing and processing equipment
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical breakdowns
  • PLC fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects
  • Working closely with production teams to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime
  • Identifying root causes of recurring issues and implementing long-term solutions
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures


The Candidate

To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer role, you should have:

  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification
  • Experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Maintenance Technician or similar
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Experience working within manufacturing, food production, FMCG, processing, packaging, pharmaceutical or industrial environments
  • PLC fault-finding experience
  • A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
  • Full right to work in the UK
