Job Description
A telecommunications organization in Missouri is seeking an SQL Developer to join their team in the Greater St. Louis area, supporting the development and maintenance of an internal .NET application.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Setting: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Responsibilities:
- Build new features for an internal .NET application across backend and SQL components
- Maintain and enhance existing application functionality and performance
- Participate in standups, feature design discussions, and development planning
- Develop and execute unit tests to support application quality
- Work with enterprise application and database components to deliver technical solutions
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, SSRS, SSIS
- Experience developing with C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework, and Entity Framework
- Experience with microservices, SOAP web services, XML, and Git
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and implementation
- Strong understanding of application architecture, including load balancing, ports, security, LDAP, and IIS
- Ability to analyze and understand existing enterprise applications and databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take ownership, make technical decisions, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities
