As a Senior Salesforce Solution Architect, you'll be a key player in designing and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions that align with complex business needs. This is a business-facing Solution Architect role rather than a developer-focused position. You'll partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand processes, translate business goals into practical Salesforce solutions, and guide enterprise-grade implementations within a regulated environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engage with stakeholders to gather and refine business and technical requirements
• Collaborate on prototypes and proof-of-concept models to validate architectural approaches
• Determine the optimal use of declarative tools versus custom development within Salesforce
• Drive high-quality technical delivery by guiding solution design and execution
• Architect systems with considerations for high data volume, scalability, and data security
• Evaluate alternative design options, clearly communicating trade-offs and rationale
• Identify and resolve architectural and delivery challenges during the project lifecycle
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, including process flows, data models, and technical specs
• Guide development teams on data modeling, automation, security, and integration best practices
• Participate in backlog grooming and feature prioritization sessions
• Support effective user story definition with clear success criteria and technical clarity
• Present and justify design decisions to both technical and business stakeholders
• Partner closely with business leaders to align Salesforce solutions with strategic business objectives and operational priorities
• Leverage prior experience in the automotive industry to design solutions tailored to automotive-specific processes, data models, and customer engagement needs
• Serve as a business-facing Salesforce architect, translating business processes and requirements into solution designs without requiring a software development background
• Design solutions for large, complex enterprise organizations with multiple stakeholders, business units, integrations, security requirements, and governance considerations
• Incorporate compliance, security, data access, and regulatory requirements into Salesforce solution design
• Support customer, dealer, or partner-facing Salesforce capabilities; experience with automotive, automotive finance, or dealer ecosystems is highly valued
• Evaluate and design solutions involving customer loyalty, incentive management, or marketing-related programs when applicable
• Support integration planning for phone/voice platforms and payment platforms when applicable

Qualifications and Competencies:

Required Experience:

• 5+ years in a senior role leading Salesforce solution design and implementation across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and DevOps frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce data integrations and migrations
• Demonstrated ability to lead greenfield Salesforce implementations and enhancements
• Strongly prefer previous Automotive Experience or Auto Financial Industry Experience
• Experience managing more corporate/global enterprise projects (not only SMB) is required.

• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate with business leaders, understand operational needs, and translate them into Salesforce solution architecture
• Experience working within a regulated enterprise environment with compliance, security, and governance requirements
• Ability to work effectively in environments with formal controls, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Preferred Experience:
• Automotive or automotive finance industry experience
• Dealer or dealer-network experience
• Salesforce Loyalty Management, incentive management, or marketing/loyalty program experience
• Phone, telephony, contact-center, or voice integrations with Salesforce
• Payment platform or payment-processing integrations

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
• Salesforce certifications such as:
• Salesforce Administrator
• Platform Developer I
• Platform App Builder

Skills Required:

• Practical experience with 1-2: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and manage complex solutioning in dynamic environments
• Proven time management, organizational, and collaboration skills
