Job Description

Accountants and auditors prepare and examine financial records, identify potential areas of opportunity and risk, and provide solutions for businesses and individuals. They ensure that financial records are accurate, that financial and data risks are evaluated, and that taxes are paid properly.

Accountant

Pay Rate: $70 000-80 000

Perform extensive financial analysis and assist in preparation of various corporate financial statements

Provide support for SEC filings

Account reconciliations, trend analysis, forecasting

Ad hoc projects will be assigned as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Accounting Information Systems

Public accounting experience desirable (3-5 years)

Graduate degree, CPA and/or CIA certification is preferred

Experience in financial analysis, consolidations & reporting

Exceptional analytical, communication and organization skills

Working knowledge of accounting/auditing practices, principles and procedures is required

Strong attention to detail is a must
