Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Define recovery strategies based on RTO/RPO and business requirements.
• Architect multi-region/multi-zone Google Cloud Platform environments for high availability and resiliency.
• Implement backup, replication, failover, and recovery solutions using native Google Cloud Platform services.
• Design resilient networking with automated routing and failover.
• Lead DR exercises, failover testing, recovery validation, and readiness assessments.
• Develop DR runbooks, recovery procedures, and operational documentation.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility for DR environments.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, application, operations, and business teams.
• Provide technical leadership and optimize resiliency solutions against infrastructure and operational costs.

Required Skills:

• Strong Google Cloud Platform cloud architecture and multi-region/multi-zone design experience.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform DR/recovery services.
• Strong networking and failover architecture experience.
• Terraform/OpenTofu and GitLab.
• SRE practices, RTO/RPO, DR drills, monitoring, logging, IAM, and security.
• Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect certification required.

Nice to Have:

• Microsoft Azure experience.
• Multi-cloud DR/resiliency architecture.
• Additional Cloud/Security/SRE certifications.
